We are seeking a talented and driven Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, deriving actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. This role requires expertise in Advanced analytics and programming, as well as strong problem-solving skills.

 

About the Team

The GTM BI Team at Nutanix helps drive growth, performance, and operational efficiency throughout the sales organization. We act as partners to identify market opportunities, uncover gaps and drive operational excellence.

The team  has a track record of delivering actionable insights through data analysis, improving decision-making and revenue growth. One of their key achievements includes developing a streamlined reporting system that boosted efficiency and accuracy in sales data analysis.

You'll report to our dynamic leader, who not only has extensive expertise in BI & Analytics but also brings a wealth of experience in mentoring teams, shaping individual careers, and driving team growth.

Our team works in a hybrid model, blending remote collaboration with in-person meetings when necessary. This approach allows for flexibility while ensuring effective communication and teamwork across different work environments

 

Your Role

• Analyse large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. 
• AI-Native Development: Utilize AI development tools like Gemini, Cursor.ai for rapid development, building interactive dashboards and portals which are automated, interactive, insightful and integrated into Sales leadership workflows. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical solutions. 
• Build agents to process and validate data to ensure data quality and integrity. As well to deliver automated insights and intelligence to Business Stakeholders.  
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Conversation AI platforms. 
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of Conversation AI tools and analytics systems, optimizing as needed. 
• Define and govern KPIs, build robust security processes and automate metrics/insights. 

 

What You Will Bring

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline is required. 
• Strong skills in Prompt Engineering and experience using AI-powered coding. 
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Python, React, SQL, Pandas, or Spark. 
• Experience in building agentic analytics using Wisdom.ai, Alteryx or Thoughspot. 
• Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks and statistical analysis (regression, hypothesis testing). 
• Expert in Visualization, with a focus on moving from static reporting to live data intelligence products. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with strong design sense. 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
• Background in natural language processing, deep learning, or reinforcement learning. 
• Strong business knowledge in Sales, Finance or Saas. Able to define metrics and derive insights. 

 

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
